This is especially true for seniors. Unfortunately, you probably cannot hit the ball as far as you once did. And your hands are not as steady. You eyesight is perhaps a bit worse.

So what's the best rehearsal for your mind? Get over it! Don't let it bother you. Improve you game in other ways. Can't hit it as far? Work on your chipping. Unsteady hands? Get a good long putter. Can't see the pin? Ask your friend if he or she can and then lay up. Who knows -- combine on your short game and you may become great than you were when you could "kill" the ball.
