Mathris. A highly moving and addicting game for iPad, Mathris is especially good for children and anyone wanting to brush up on arithmetic skills. On each level there is a target number, and as numbered balls fall into the screen your aim is to tap balls that add up to the target. As they are tapped they disappear from the screen in a Tetris™- style fashion, and you must not let the screen fill up. The target estimate keeps changing to keep you on your toes. Simple and entertaining, mathris is one of the best free games for iPad.

The Best Games to Play on Your Laptop

Game 1: Heroes of Might and Magic
The first game we will take a look at is Heroes of Might and Magic. This game has been a great beloved of mine on both the desktop and the laptop. I think most laptops can play all versions of Heroes of Might and Magic without much problems.

The game itself is very addictive and I promise you will be playing "just one more turn" once you get into it. The best thing, of course, are the low ideas requirements so you don't need a super duper laptop to play it. And did I mention it is very addictive and comes with high replay value?

Game 2: Bard's Tale / Wasteland
The Bard's Tale and Wasteland are two primary computer role-playing games which are also very favorable for laptops. They have immensely low ideas requirements, being practically 20 years old. But don't be deceived, these are solid games with solid content. You will be addicted to the storylines and in-depth character development. Before Diablo, there were Rpgs such as these which gave me countless hours of fun on the Pc.

Game 3: Civilization 3
Another great strategy game, Civilization 3 is the product of the great game maker, Sid Meier. The game is about empire building from the dawn of time until the present day, so you can imagine the multitude of weapons and technologies you are able to research and put into use during the game. Great game with high replay value and precisely beautiful graphics and cut-scenes.

Game 4: Lode Runner
A nice primary arcade favorite, Lode Runner was a huge hit in the 80s. You can play it precisely on your laptop and get lost for hours. You operate a minuscule man who can "zap" parts of the floor away to save himself from different challenges. The levels are so lively that you need to try it to understand the level of belief and depth that went into their design.

Game 5: Jagged Alliance 2
The final game in this list is Jagged Alliance 2. This is a great "mercenary gunmen" game, which features a deeply complicated tactical combat system. Think of M-16s, Ak-47s, grenades and other weapons of destruction which you can buy and assign to your personel mercenaries. You get to deploy them on perilous tactical squad level missions and I can tell you, this game is addictive in every sense of the word.

So as you can see, there are precisely many games that you can pick to play on your laptop. My advice is to go for low ideas requirements so that your laptop can play it even if it is a minuscule slow or beyond the times.
